Global Strategy Forum


Pre-qualification required:

The Global Strategy Forum is an event within an event. Designed exclusively for Global Shared Services leaders, this elite forum delivers the specific information and exchange necessary to uncover whether Eastern Europe is a viable element in your Sourcing Strategy.


In order to qualify for this forum you answer yes to the following questions:

  • I sit in the C-suite or report directly to the C-suite
  • I control or directly influence my company's shared services budget for growth and / or cost cutting solutions
  • I control or directly influence corporate strategy at a global, regional or group level

Head To Head BPO Debate

This session lays bare the underlying difficulties of BPO partnerships, and reveals why some of you keep choosing captive over outsourced. This lively and controversial format will allow insight into the misperceptions, shared interests and points of pain that are intrinsic to the Outsourcing debate.

Debating Rules:

Formal debating rules apply as our Proposition and Opposition teams go head to head.

The debate will run as follows:


The Chairman opens the debate and gives a summary of current sourcing trends

  • Each team consists of 3 members
  • Each team will speak twice for 5 minutes, taking turns to discuss their point of view
  • Discussion is then opened to the floor for questioning from the audience
  • Each team is given the opportunity to respond to your questions or comments
  • The last fifteen minutes will include a vote from the audience to show your thoughts on the issues discussed.

Functional Rountables

Use these sessions to address those operational issues specific to your function. Expert facilitators will afford you the opportunity to tackle you r imperative issues and discuss your day-to-day dilemmas.

Regional Networking: Neighbourhood Watch

  • Your opportunity to make contacts within your town, region or country. Or to delve deeper into a network to find out the specific issues being faced in one country or another.
  • Using regional benchmarks, find out where your country sits in the pecking order, and why. From attrition rates to cost per invoice, discuss these figures with your neighbours and develop strategies to get you closer to best-practice standards.
  • Discover local and cultural distinctions, and ensure that you leave with the business cards of at least three new neighbours.
